Mohammad Banie is in the third generation of his family’s oriental rug business. In 1965, his elder brothers started Banie Brothers in the U.S, and Mohammad joined them in 1972. After 3 successful decades in the business, his elder brothers retired in 1995. At that point, Mr. Banie opened the well-known Abraham Rug Gallery in Mill Valley, California. Although health problems forced him to take a leave of absence in 2006, he has now completely recuperated and started the Berkeley Rug House. With 4 decades of experience, Mr. Banie has a vast knowledge of oriental rugs. He offers this experience and his commitment to provide expert service in cleaning and restoring your precious oriental and newer rugs. His skilled craftsmen can restore your treasured possessions and guarantee to you every attention to detail.
